SHVT Sailing Team just established this year, which the company itself sponsored one brand new SB20 sailboat which the team is using during the SB20 World Championship 2025 in Singapore recently and the team manage to finish 8th place out of 53 boat. This is the team 1st time using this type of sailboat, and to finish top10 in the for the 1st time is a good start for us.
Khairulnizam is a 4x Olympian and had represent Malaysia to many Worlds Cup and International events. Team captain is eager to promote involvement of former and current sailing athletes into the big boat events. This is to enable continuous participation of sailors even atter steeping down from the Olympic Classes. Khairulnizam is currently ranked 18th in the World Sailing Ranking for ILCA 7 class. Recently, he and his team had won first place at the Boryeong International Regatta in the J70 category. He was the skipper of SSL Team Malaysia and amazingly placed 10th in SSL Gold Cup. He had sailed with THA72 Team VAYU competing in the TP52 Super Series 2023. Khairulnizam had continue to amaze the sailing industry in Malaysia with his ongoing achievements.
Ahmad Hakimi is a well experienced sailing athlete, that have been involved in the sailing industry for over two decades. Recently, he had made Malaysia proud after finishing 10th place at the SSL Gold Cup alongside Khairulnizam, Ahmad Faizul Aswad, Asri and Uzair Amin. Not just that his superb strength had helped Malaysia J70 sailing athletes to win the Yisunsin Cup in 2022 and had won gold for round island race in Boryeong International Sailing Championship. He had also been sailing with team Matahari and his expertise had won the Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2024. The amazing the trimmer is one of kind and indeed an outstanding sailing athlete. Both Mr Aswad and Mr Hakimi had took part in the World Match Racing Tour previously.
Faizul Aswad have been all over the world sailing in the Match Racing and Fleet Racing Championship. He had amazingly brought his team to countless podium placing achievements. Recently, he and his team had won first place at the Boryeong International Regatta in the J70 category. He's also act as the Team Manager to one of the Sports State Team in Malaysia for the National Games. Despite juggling both responsibilities, he still actively sailing and competing alongside Khairulnizam, Asri and friends. His achievement includes winning the Yisunsin Cup 2022 in Tongyeong-Si South Korea. Recently, he managed to win the Platu Match Racking at Royal Selangor Yacht Club. Not just that his Team Matahari managed to win two consecutive champion title at the Royal Langkawi Internationa Regatta. Both Mr Aswad and Mr Hakimi had took part in the World Match Racing Tour previously.
